'Real Time' is about as classic as it gets. Inspired by the Americana sounds of Harry Nilsson and Emitt Rhodes, the guitar twang and harmonica riffs feel like a nostalgic strut. Andrew's vocals bring a sense of high-spirited optimism, and the structure of the track shows Andrew's knowledge of the art of writing a hit. The track is Andrew saying that he's always there, should you need him. Inspired by letters from his Grandpa, 'Real Time' is simply Andrew expressing that he's just always trying to have "a real time."
