A rare treat in 2023... An Amtrak P42DC assists with the busy Thanksgiving holiday weekend travel. With the unreliable Siemens Chargers and the demand for longer trains and extra power, it was time to unleash the GE power once again to the Surfline! It's been quite some time since I've seen a P42 running down here, let alone with a nice horn! Solid wheezy sounding K5LA on the AMTK 148... I like it!
