Artificial Intelligence (AI) is advancing at a faster pace every day. Many are concerned that connecting AI to the Internet of Things (IoT) will enable AI to become a superior being to humans and potentially take our jobs.

Real AI may be a decade or three away in the future, if it is even possible , but what we have now, Machine Learning, Machine Vision, Neural Networking, quality programming , and vast data pools allows us to do remarkable things with all the information we have.

The Internet of Things also known as IoT, has given us devices like NEST-style thermostats for your home. They record the temperature constantly.
Of course, IoT goes much further than that, penetrating into every aspect of our lives including refrigerators that know when you’re out of something and can order more automatically. One day soon IoT will be integrated right into our clothing.

Essentially, IoT will become an intimate part of our lives; it will power the three “E”s of education, employment, and entertainment to be sure, but it will also report on industrial processes like manufacturing and mining. It will expedite travel, healthcare, VR & AR processes, making WEB-3 and the internet safer for your personal information, and keeping overzealous advertisers at bay.
When IoT is married to AI, even as it stands now, or once we evolve it to something closer to “real intelligence”, it will push us toward a Post-Scarcity Society, where all the answers are available to us; where we know how to solve all the world’s problems

The AI/IoT would be the ultimate polymath. It would be expert at everything possible and have access to as much information as we could produce.
Join Us in this video as we explore what is IoT and what the world will look like when AI and IoT become connected.
