The Cadillac Lyriq model year 2024 is the only one for which the customer satisfaction program, number N232428240, is applicable. The remedy is provided at no cost untilMarch 31, 2026. The tray beneath the HVAC controls on the instrument panel is referred to in the bulletin as the "instrument panel center storage compartment does not function correctly." GM doesn't offer any precise information on the malfunction.
On social media, however, owners of Cadillac Lyriqs seem to be complaining that the storage tray does not fit flush. One potential solution to address the issue is for the dealership to swap out the storage tray with a new one. Although ordering a new part might be necessary, the replacement process takes less than 30 minutes.
Several problems with the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq were previously resolved by GM, as stated in past service bulletins. In order to guarantee a better fit, one such repair from March 2023 entailed adjusting a malfunctioning windshield molding retention bracket. When the General released a service bulletin addressing vibration during a turn and suggesting that the intermediate shaft bolt may need to be replaced, it also addressed a more significant problem.

The warning does not state how many 2024 Lyriq crossovers are impacted by the present stowage tray issue. An approved EV dealer is required to do the repair.
Recall that the 2024 Lyriq Rear Wheel drive is powered by a single, rear-axle-mounted motor that produces 325 pound-feet of torque and 340 horsepower. A total of 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque are produced by the two electric motors, one for each axle, found in the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq All Wheel drive.

Ultium battery and GM Ultium Drive motor technology are used in both combinations. Regarding range, the All Wheel drive model can go 307 miles on a full charge, whereas the Rear Wheel drive version can go 314 miles.
The Cadillac Lyriq is backed by the GM BEV3 platform underneath the body panels. The Tennessee-based GM Spring Hill factory is presently in production.

Upgrades to the Cadillac Lyriq are Nice GM stopped selling the Chevrolet Blazer EV in March. But at least things are moving more smoothly with the Cadillac Lyriq launch.
