If you use the information in this video to service your own bike, you will save $400 to $500 each time you service your Harley as compared to expensive dealership service fees.

Always remember, to start your bike and let it run for at least 5 minutes before you change the oil. Warm oil drains better, pulls out sediment better, and with "Dry Sump" engines like in our Harley Davidson motorcycles, the oil tends to "sump" down into the engine case over time which will prevent you from draining all the oil from the bike during this procedure.

In this video i cover the procedure i use to drain and replace the engine oil, transmission fluid, and primary fluid as well as the oil filter.

This process will be basically the same for all Road King, Road Glide, Street Glide, and Electra Glide motorcycles built from 2000 to 2017.
I also briefly mention Frame Design differences and cross member location differences.

The engine oil plug and transmission fluid plug both torque between 14 foot pounds and 21 foot pounds if you decide to use a torque wrench.
