#classicmovies #warmovies #worldwar2 Prior to America's entry into World War II, classic era Hollywood studios began to release a small number of anti-Nazi films that drew the ire of isolationist senators in Washington DC. Believing these films were produced as interventionist propaganda meant to encourage the American public to abandon support of neutrality, the Senate conducted hearings in an effort to challenge Hollywood's stance.
