Join me for a little historical tour of the town of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie in the Vendee Region of France. We'll tour the narrow streets, learn about the 17th century architecture, and of course the Sardine trade! A special treat for me was to visit also to La Maison du Pecheur, the fisherman's house to learn more about what life was like in this early fishing town.
