And the king of MCU spoilers, Mark Ruffalo, may have revealed how Avengers Secret Wars will reboot the Marvel Cinematic Universe. (A big reveal type cadence) Another big bang. [clip, a scientist such as Dawkins or Tyson explaining what the Big Bang is]

So let’s break down Ruffalo’s history of spoiling major MCU events. Evidence that the MCU’s Big Bang has happened multiple times already. And why the upcoming reset will not only reset Universe 616, but the entire Marvel Multiverse. [clip, Ms. Minutes “the end of everything”]

Let’s start with Ruffalo’s spoiling habits. He and Tom Holland are notorious for being loose-lipped when promoting their Marvel films. [clip, Tom Holland saying Ruffalo is worse]

One of the most infamous Ruffalo spoilers was when he accidentally live streamed the first few minutes of Thor Ragnarok. [clip]

But even that slip up pales in comparison to him spoiling the ending of Avengers Infinity War. [clip, Ruffalo saying “everyone dies”]

Well we think we may have found yet another slip up. At the She-Hulk premiere, Ruffalo had this to say when asked about the upcoming Secret Wars film. [clip, Ruffalo “it’ll be hard to top Endgame…it’ll be a big bang, we’ll go out with a big bang.]

Doug: Hey person, isn’t that just an expression? Are you sure we aren’t reading too much into this?

Well sure the expression “go out with a bang” is a common phrase meaning to depart in a grand fashion. And that of course was sure to be expected for a film that may be the finale to the entire MCU. And not to mention the biggest Marvel film ever made.

But with Ruffalo saying “it’s a big bang” and then “we go out with a big bang.” I think he may yet again be spoiling what’s to come. The tone he used seemed a little unnatural. Almost like he was hesitantly teasing at something, because he just can’t help himself.

It’s likely that Kevin Fegie has let Ruffalo and other high level MCU alum know about his plans to relaunch the universe. And perhaps even his plans to move on from Marvel Studios after Secret Wars. [clip, Rascal Flatts, I’m Moving On]

Now we’ve heard mention of the Big Bang several times in the MCU. [clips]

And with us living in the Multiverse Saga, the topic of the creation and destruction of universes is at the forefront of the story.

We’ve recently seen the MCU seemingly adapt the theory of Schwarzschild Cosmology.
Also known as Black Hole Cosmology. A cosmological model in which the observable universe exists within a black hole. Some scientists theorize that within every black hole there lies another universe.

Doug: So like if you were to enter a black hole you could enter another universe?

Yeah, theoretically.

Doug: Oh wow, I always thought black holes had Matthew Mcanahay and a bunch of bookshelves inside them.

Interstellar reference, nice, high five.

So like I was saying, we’ve seen the MCU adopt this theory in the Loki series. In the finale of the first season we open with a shot of one of many big bangs forming a universe. We then zoom out and see that this is happening within what appears to be a black hole. We then enter a neighboring black hole which takes us into another universe.

Doug: And then we see the Sacred Timeline.

Yes exactly.

Doug: So what’s the deal with that? Is the Sacred Timeline like inside that black hole? Does the other black hole have another Sacred Timeline inside it?

Well the way it was depicted was a little confusing, but here’s how I interpreted it. The Sacred Timeline consists of all existing timelines, aka all existing universes. Each strand of time is its own universe flowing parallel to the others in a circular motion. Thus making up the totality of the Sacred Timeline. [clip, Mobious “happens again and again and again”]
