A Box Alarm assignment was struck in Southwest Detroit for a dwelling fire at Beard and Whittaker Street. Engine 37 arrived, and requested the second engine to dump their monitor. Engine 33 dumped while Engine 37 stretched. Crews were able to keep fire from extending the the delta exposure, while clearing the entire dwelling for occupants. No injuries were reported.
