"Science + Art = Fun", some more. A quick how-to on the process of making your own electronic drum triggers that look like "normal" acoustic drums. One nice thing about electronic drums is that the size and shape of the trigger drum has no relation to the sound it produces. Thus, a very small drum can create a very deep pitch, and vice versa. This allows for great flexibility in the design and layout of your kit. Get creative and go wild!

FYI, when it comes to mounting the L brackets that hold the spar, you might also consider using the style of L bracket that has a mounting slot instead of a simple hole. This way, you can slide both brackets up or down to position the cone properly.
