Today we tear down Toyota's popular 5.7L 3UR V8 found in the 2007 up Tundra and Sequoia, as well as the Land Cruiser and Lexus LX570. This particular engine was a customers old engine that was returned after buying a replacement. Unfortunately I did not get a story or mileage with this engine, so those are both unknown. Ironically, I tore down another Toyota 5.7 nearly a year ago to the day! Its clear this engine wasn't serviced regulary, but is that why it failed?
