Join me for a #gardenvlog and let's enjoy a beautiful sunrise, an awesome day at Grass Roots, and... a fried egg tree?!

We start our day at Grass Roots Garden Center looking at the amazing Dream Stream that Ethan and the folks @amencornerponds recently put together. This water feature is absolutely amazing, adding such beauty to the landscape!

Next, we head home and plant our birthday present: a rare shrub named Polyspora, or the Shibamichi fried egg tree. This rare plant, which is in the Camellia family, comes from Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam region. It flowers in the fall and is best suited for zones 8-9. Can't wait to see it flower!
