The Easter gospel, Father Phil preached, reminds us that death no longer rules us. He urged us to use this Christian fearlessness as a tool against the divisions that plague our world. “Divisions come from fear. You no longer have to fear. So you no longer have to divide,” he offered. “

If you find yourself in a situation where you feel invited to contribute to division, have the Christian courage to not contribute,” he urged us. “Step back. Look in the tomb, and see . . . that he is gone. And that you need not fear.”
