In this video I share my thoughts on what I think about the Audioscape Engineering Optical compressor. The audio examples give you insight on the character the Opto Compressor imparts on the signal. I used a Warm Audio WA-87 microphone going into a Focusrite ISA One preamp. No makeup gain was used on the examples so that one can hear the "character" of the compression.
