The Star Wars Sequel Trilogy is a giant point of contention in fandom. While I personally enjoyed the first two films, The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi very, very much, the final entry THE RISE OF SKYWALKER made me rethink a lot of what I felt. It is unfortunate that the final Skywalker Saga entry was a bit of a mess while also retreading story beats without really pushing further. My retrospective is of course my own opinions so no worries if you LOVE each of these films equally. For me, it didnt work out that way. Thankfully we got some interesting new characters like Kylo Ren and Rey but I definitely wished for more.
