زدارائ دور است و دور است دین

Shahanshah Aurangzeb the Cursed,
his reign is over and faith is far from him.

These lines were written by the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji in his Zafarnama which was a poetic letter he sent to Aurangzeb declaring his moral victory over the Mughals. Forever, the legacy of Aurangzeb will echo within these words. This is the legacy we’ll go over in this video. I’m going to try and answer three questions about Aurangzeb. First, was he a good emperor? Second, was he an intolerant bigot who cracked down on minorities? And finally, did he destroy the Mughal Empire? Let’s get started.
