Anyone who REALLY knows me knows of my admiration for Janelle Monae. I've been to every show she's done in Charlotte, from the Fillmore to the free show for the DNC years ago. This show was at the newest Skyla amphitheater, and it did NOT disappoint!

I really didn't set out to record the whole dang performance, lol. By the end, my phone was nearly dead and I had less than 20 minutes of video space left, and it was WORTH IT!

Now, keeping it real, the sound is horrible cuz the bass is overwhelming. But if you're a fan like me, you won't care.

The video is 90 minutes and I'm hoping YouTube didn't mute any of it....let me know if it did.
