The 2021 Nissan Navara PRO-4X is a new trim for the Navara ute lineup here in Australia, bringing tougher, sportier looks but without the cost of the forthcoming, full-fat Warrior package. But is this really the right way to splash sixty grand on a pick-up? Does a Toyota HiLux or Ford Ranger make more sense, or the Isuzu D-Max? Should you wait for the Navara Warrior instead?

Rivals to the Nissan Navara include the Toyota HiLux, Mazda BT-50 and Volkswagen Amarok.
