Does it get ANY better than this?! Tons of baseballs and free food and thanks to some crazy luck I snagged Salvador's Pérez's 20th home run of the season!

Kauffman Stadium is an absolute gem of a ballpark, and it breaks my heart that it's gonna be replaced in a few years, but hey, that's why I made this trip. I wanted to soak it in and take advantage of how chill and beautiful it is.

In this game, which took place on September 1, 2023, the Kansas City Royals faced the Boston Red Sox, so in addition to Salvy and Bobby Witt Jr. and Nick Loftin (who was making his MLB debut), I got to see Rafael Devers and Masatake Yoshida and some other big names.

It was also cool to see Zack Greinke's kids running around in the outfield during batting practice. Huge thanks to them for being so generous and tossing a bunch of balls to fans. Maybe we'll see them in the Major Leagues someday?
