Waking up in the Philippines after just a few hours of sleep was a mix of excitement and exhaustion. But there’s no resting when you’ve got a whole new country to explore, right? So, after fueling up with some breakfast, we decided to venture out into Makati to see what the city had to offer.

Turns out, Makati had a lot of heat to offer, and with the kids hot and tired, our plans quickly took a turn. But hey, that’s the beauty of family travel – you adapt, you overcome, and most importantly, you find the nearest pool to cool off in. And that’s exactly what we did.

This vlog kicks off with us making the most out of the situation, splashing around in the hotel pool, which honestly, was a fantastic way to beat the heat and perk everyone up. It’s not every day you get to swim in a beautiful pool in the Philippines, after all.

Erika and I also take you on a tour of this incredible hotel we’re staying at in Makati. From the stunning views to the top-notch amenities, this place is nothing short of amazing, and we feel incredibly lucky to be calling it our home for this part of our adventure.
