Does it Dad Highlander

It’s got mpgs b/c it’s a hybrid, it’s got a giant pano roof so the birds can judge your parenting, and it has three rows…sort of.

If a Prius and a 4Runner had a baby, you’d have the 2023 Toyota Highlander. Now Dads love efficiency–that’s why we buy shampoo and conditioner in one, so the Highlander will definitely keep dad happy b/c this hybrid engine is legit. Nearly 36 mpgs but still enough off-the-line punch thanks to the 243 engine to get you past the guy you accidently cut off b/c you were trying to hand your kid his water bottle.

Love how open this feels with the optional pano-roof. And of course, storage is vital so us dads can stash snacks, wallet, keys, phone, glasses, kid’s pick up number for the carpool line, etc.

Lots of pockets and slots: the door, this little tiny cubby, love this cool consolue that slides back and this wireless charger is the best one I’ve tested yet. Speaking of tech, the 12.3” digital guages can be configured how you want and 12.3” infotainment screen were updated for 2023 and you can get 11 JBL speakers–enough to really jam out to those Kidz Bopp songs. BUT i’m curious why they tossed the volume knob allllll the way over here.

Driver gets control. That’s Dad rule #1.

The second row is where it’s at, separate climate control, roof-mounted vents which are big score for adults with sweaty brows and kids in rear-facing seats.

That third row is out for adults but kids with cell phones to plug in and drinks to hold will be thrilled to have some space back there and they do fold flat. Yeahhhh.

So obviously, the highlander is a rad car but does it dad…yes
