Living in an Off-Grid Log Cabin in the Yukon - The Full Documentary: We snowmobile into an off-grid wilderness log cabin in the Yukon which we move into. We give a log home tour, light a Coleman lantern and cook dinner on a propane stove. Ice fishing for Lake Trout, riding the snowmachine, exploring the trails, and upland hunting for ptarmigan are some of the things we got up to around the cabin. We also went family camping, traveling into the mountains to camp in a hot tent or wall tent for a couple of nights. We called this cabin home for 14 days before moving on to other adventures in the Yukon Territory. My wife Tori and I had our special needs toddler along for the adventure which made it all the more interesting and memorable.
