One of my all time favorite Beatles songs. I settled on using the strings for the backing harmonies since the choir effect on my piano only produced “aahhs” instead of “ooos” and it just didn’t sound right in comparison to the original recording. Paul has stated he actually wrote this song in practically one morning in June 1966 white sitting outside by the pool waiting for John to wake up at his home in Weybridge, which is amazing to me.
