Tyla, Gunna, Skillibeng - The Making of 'Jump' (Vevo Footnotes)

The singer behind "Water" is all about groove and bounce, so after cutting her album in Jamaica, she went back to South Africa to work aspects of both locales into the intricate rhythms of "Jump." It was a wise move - double the beats, double the action. She and director Nabil didn't have a script for the shoot upon arrival, but they did have Skillibeng and Gunna. And they did have Tyla's feel for cultural touchstones. And they did have stylists and creative directors that made frolicking in Johannesburg feel like the most fun ever. 'Cept for maybe the heat.
