Here I compare the Dewalt DXGNI2200 running in normal (non-eco) mode with an Echo 2 cycle engine blower and a Ryobi battery blower. The generator is fairly quiet and actually has a better "quality" of sound which is less irritating than the other devices. The generator runs even quieter in ECO mode.

This is also the first start of this generator from new, hence the puff of smoke. It starts pretty easy with a dial type choke, which you can see I back off once started. ECO mode is quieter and sounds much like it does when choked.
