Hey There! The last of us TV show recently wrapped up it's first season and with a confirmation of further seasons to cover the story of the second game I'm here to provide baseless speculation on how the second season will turn out.
I played the Last of Us Part 2 when it first released, I can't say I'm the biggest fan of it. I think the gameplay clashes with the themes and the idea of how violence is bad but yet the game throws hundreds of enemies at you.
Season 2 of the TV show however can change this by reducing the number of enemies and changing a few things around.
Putting the player through an uncomfortable experience for 25 hours isn't really a great idea, I think that works in small amounts and at key moments, having it for the guts of a whole game doesn't really work, it just makes the game not fun.
So yeah I think the story of Part 2 will be better as a TV show compared to a gameplay experience.
