In this video, we visit Lake Keowee-Toxaway State Park in the upstate of South Carolina. We enjoyed a day hike out with our family who live in the area. This was our first time visiting this state park and enjoying the beautiful lake. This hike was approximately a 4 mile look and took us about 2.5 hours. It is rated moderate, but there were parts that were challenging.
We stayed at Crooked Creek RV Park, which is right on Lake Keowee. It was a great little campground with no fancy amenities, but the views are worth the stay!

We are a family of 4 who love to travel. In 2019, we bought a 30 ft. travel trailer and decided to make our dreams happen by getting out on the road. Since then, we have upgraded to a 39' Fifth Wheel Mid-Bunkhouse and a 2018 Ford F-350 Diesel and are loving the upgrade for our family. We have always LOVED traveling and now seeing our world on the road has given us opportunities to see and make more memories as a family. We are teachers and are blessed to have the same "vacation" schedule, so we make the most of it with our kids by being both weekend warriors and by "school schedule" traveling--We call ourselves summer-timers. We hope to share what we learn while exploring this beautiful world around us and inspire you to get out and see it too.
