This is an early prototype recording of my DMX stage backlight project, designed to back light a stage projector at a demoparty. Apologies for the poor audio quality in this video, and the buzzing from my phone. This was a rough recording made late at night.

Hardware is an Arduino Mega2560 + NodeMCU WiFi Shield + Tinkerkit DMX shield connected to four LED PAR cans (QTX PAR56).

Software uses DXGI to sample screen at the full resolution and present rate, while using only ~5% CPU on a 4790K, even at 4K resolution capture.

This project was completed and showcased at NOVA 2017: http://novaparty.org/
