Dahir Insaat has developed the transport of the future that unloads city roads
Today, one of the biggest problems of cities is the congestion of the road network. Existing types of rail and non-rail public transport require separate structures or carriageways. Dedicated lanes and even systems completely separated from other road users, such as metro buses, do not resolve the issue. Since a separate system requires a place in an already dense road street network, which is taken from other traffic participants, then while solving the problem of public route transport, the situation only gets worse for everyone else.
Every year, the number of cars around the world is growing rapidly, despite the fact that many countries impose high taxes on the use of personal cars. The number of trucks is also increasing, the economic activity of the population grow, which also affects the need for constant movement in the urbanized zone precisely on automobiles, but not just on public transport.
This state of affairs has long demanded a new approach to solving the transport problems of large cities, and the farther, the more relevant it becomes every year. To the traffic jams issue, which causes multibillion-dollar losses every year, the problem of global warming and other environmental issues is added.
Gyroscopic transport is the solution to many problems
Dahir Insaat company has developed a unique project of the so-called second-level transport, which, moving along the same common roads, nevertheless does not take its place and interferes with other transport. This is a gyroscopic transport that moves at the second level of movement, that is, over the mainstream of cars, while not requiring the expensive construction of special flyovers or other equipment.
All that is necessary for such a vehicle to be able to move around the city is to pave the way from one standard rail, which will cost much less than not only flyovers or tunnels, but even than ordinary asphalt or concrete roads.
Rather large modules-cars are held at one axial fulcrum due to the gyroscopic system, which allows you to keep the balance without an additional fulcrum. However, options are also possible at several points of support, depending on the characteristics of a particular route.
Based on adjustable telescopic racks, transport modules have the ability to change the height of their movement. For example, when travelling above high trucks, the module car can rise, and to pass under a bridge, overpass or other low obstacles, it can decrease almost down to the ground level to become the height of a regular bus.
Such prospects make it possible to take public transportation beyond the limits of general traffic and at the same time, it can move along the same city streets. This can be a solution to the modern problems of urban cities and prevent its aggravation in the future due to growing urbanization. When cities will become larger and larger, and traffic on their streets becomes denser.
These advantages of technology have already been appreciated by the government of the United Arab Emirates - the globally renowned lovers of innovation.
The second level transport on six supports, and with a variable distance between the wheel supports, made it possible to use such vehicles in urban conditions, in the intersection of roads with different radius of curvature, different intersections and passage under bridges. Only a variable inter-wheel distance will allow a platform with six supports to ride along a curved path and crouch under the bridges. And after watching the video, you will understand in detail why it is on six pillars, and what are the advantages of this platform option. Surely someone will ask why not a year ago, but only now it appeared, the thing is that a year ago I didn’t have a ready-made solution with floating supports, I did not understand how such a transport can be made to drive curved sections of roads when it six supports and the distance between the supports is about seven meters. Analyzing with old stamps, it turned out that if these legs were not combined with one frame, with a single axis of rotation, then such a transport could only go along straight roads, and if every two supports were fixed on a frame with a single center of rotation, like a classic wagon trolley, with high supports allowing passing under the first level transport, then the supports could not be telescopic, and any possibility of using a third pair of wheels was lost, without which the function of stepping over an obstacle, squatting over bridge, and just moving along a curved path.
