Cartoon centers around Brendon Small, an ambitious eight-year-old filmmaker, who shoots movies in his basement with his two best friends in their spare time, while coming to terms with adolescence, life, and relationships. He develops a skewed father/son-like relationship with his short-tempered soccer coach, John McGuirk.
