Hi guys, in this video I'm going to cover my opinion on the iPad Mini 6th Generation and the iPad Pro 11" M1. These are two vastly different devices that tailor to completely different markets, but I think that similar people would be looking at both.

The iPad Mini 6 has always been a sleeper of a device, but with the new updates and body, it really stands as a contender to the iPad Pro models and the new iPad Airs.

I absolutely love using the iPad Mini and think that it truly could stand up to the bigger iPad models, but it ultimately depends on your use case.

I cover different types of people that would buy certain devices, what I'm going to keep moving forward, as well as what you should buy.

Hope you enjoy the video!

TL;DW: The iPad Pros cater to a very specific group of people. If you are a student or if you are a real professional that makes use of the Apple Pencil with the bigger display, you're probably going to want to stick with that device. The problem is that a majority of people buy the high end models because they want to have the Apple Pencil, a large canvas, and they want to be professionals, but end up sketching random stuff for a week and never touch it again.

If you truly can make use of the bigger screen size, by all means you should definitely get the bigger models. But the iPad Pro lacks one major feature that the iPad should have, portability. The iPad Mini being vastly easier to carry around makes using it so much more fun and involved. I would never carry my iPad Pro around anywhere because of how heavy it is especially with the Magic Keyboard. That device practically weighed more than my M1 MacBook Air.

If you already have a good laptop or even better, a MacBook to take advantage of that M1 performance, and you're not a student or a true graphics professional, I'd strongly consider the iPad Mini and just seeing how much fun it truly is to use.

You still have a canvas (albeit smaller) to play with, and you can still use the Apple Pencil to make sketches and jot down ideas if you really want. But you won't notice the advantages of having the iPad Mini until you start actually using it in your day-to-day.
