Today we’re covering the case of Tatsuya Ichihashi, a case known for its particularly bizarre and disturbing details. When 22-year-old Lindsay Hawkers traveled to Tokyo to teach English, it was supposed to be the start of an amazing adventure. Instead, it would turn into something so unimaginably horrific it would become the subject of a bestselling memoir and later, a movie.
As for Lindsay’s killer, his desperate attempts to avoid identification were so gruesome they’d earn him a near cult-hero status.
