🍃 The Yaminawá (or Yawanawa) are an indigenous people with their native land in Acre (Brazil), but currently, they also live in parts of Pando (Bolivia) and Madre de Dios (Peru). The Yaminawá language is part of the Panoan language family. Less than 1600 people speak the language according to estimates made by researches. There are only a few Yaminawá people who speak Portuguese or Spanish.
