Humans beings are designed to be “Pro-Social”, meaning that we act beyond what is required for survival. This aspect of our nature gives beauty and meaning to our actions. In a world that is in desperate need of unity and bridge-building, everyone can choose to become a “Pro-social” person and choose to play a role in improving their communities. The Pro-social process requires three key components to fully understand this behavior: 1) Identity 2) Legitimacy 3) Reward. Understanding and applying this process empowers individuals to increase the social capital within their community and better respond to crises and economic transitions more happily and effectively.

Mustapha El Akkari began his athletic career as a member of the National Team of Lebanon, competing against international teams in the Middle East.
