Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem, Israel, to a virgin named Mary and her husband Joseph. Angels announced his birth to shepherds, who came to worship him. Later, wise men from the east followed a star to find him and brought him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

The life of Jesus was full of miracles, teachings, and love. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, raised the dead, and preached the good news of God’s kingdom. He also challenged the religious leaders of his time, who opposed him and plotted to kill him. He was betrayed by one of his disciples, Judas, and arrested by the Roman soldiers. He was crucified on a cross, but on the third day he rose from the dead, defeating sin and death. He appeared to his followers and gave them the command to make disciples of all nations. He then ascended to heaven, where he reigns with God the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Only through faith in Jesus Christ, a person have slavation.

For God had such love for the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life. [John 3:16]
