The E3 Harelbeke is considered the last rehearsal for the Tour of Flanders. This semi-classic on the hills and cobblestones of the Flemish Ardennes defines what a hard man's race truly is.

The main favorites for the 2023 edition were: Mathieu van der Poel, Tadej Pogacar, Wout Van Aert, Matej Mohoric and Soren Kragh Andersen.
