Jewel wants to keep Kevin Costner's romance away from 'limelight'

Jewel appears to wish to keep her love involvement with Kevin Costner under wraps.

For those who are unaware, after his tumultuous divorce from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner in December 2023, the Yellowstone actor ignited relationship rumors with the singer.

However, Jewel also broke up with Ty Murray, her longtime partner, in 2014.

According to a recent Star Magazine article, the singer of Stay Here Forever "has been through a divorce too, though not in such a public way as Kevin."

A source said, "The media interest in her romance with Kevin isn’t something she’s used to, but she’s handled it remarkably well."

Jewel, according to the source, would rather keep things low-key because she is not "someone who caters to the spotlight."

"She is trying to live as normal a life as she can. According to an insider, "she sees Kevin for the kind, sensitive person he is."

Notably, during their brief affair in April, the singer discussed Kevin's "great" personality for the first time in public.

Jewel remarked of him in an interview with Elle Magazine, "He is a great person. There's no denying the public's great curiosity."
