The United States spent hundreds of billions of dollars on building out a cross-country Interstate highway system. Building the freeways has had the largest impact on American society since the country was formed. Cities were warped to fit the needs to personal vehicles ahead of basically everyone else. But what if the United States did not build the Interstate highway system?
