Services industries such as healthcare, travel and hospitality are facing severe labour shortages. And to throw more oil on the fire, COVID-19 came along and made these shortages even worse.

It has become abundantly clear that there are aspects to these industries that make it difficult to attract more employees. However, Kars Mennens and his colleagues at the Maastricht Center for Robots (MCR) believe that there is a way to at least tackle the shortages within these industries: Robots!
