Hope that you find some education in this, keep an eye on your friends even right in front of the lodge. After I fell in the tree well I stayed calm and waited for my friend. When he showed up and felt around to find me, snow fell into my mouth and I panicked, I had a mouth full of snow. I calmed down and held my breath (which felt like an entirety) until he dug out an airway in which I spit the snow out. It was a very scary experience. Stay safe out there!
