CHRISTMAS ACTIVITY ADVENT CALENDAR

This is something we’ve done for a very long time and I hope we always will, even as the kids get older. It’s something I like to do because it reminds me to stop and enjoy the moment more throughout the festive season. Because it’s easy to get lost in the stress of it all sometimes. Here are some of our ideas that we have used over the years! I hope it helps. And a reminder - I had a chocolate calendar when I was little and that was just as special. 🎄

ADVENT ACTIVITIES:

Let’s put your Christmas bedding on!
New Christmas pyjamas!
Write a letter to Father Christmas.
It’s Christmas Tree Day!
Let’s go and find some Christmas lights!
Let’s go to the Christmas Fest! (Local thing!)
Let’s Elf Ourselves! (Using the app)
Let’s write some Christmas cards to those we love.
Read some Christmas books by the tree!
Let’s play with some snow! (I use fake snow that you can buy and make on Amazon, and we also have a fake snowball fight!)
North Pole breakfast!
Let’s do some Christmas baking together.
You can choose whatever you want for dinner!
Let’s make Christmas cocoa before bed!
Let’s donate some food to the food bank.
Let’s play some Christmas games and puzzles after school.
Granny & Po’s Christmas Ham Day! (Family tradition!)
Let’s make paper chains and snowflakes!
Shall we watch a Christmas movie? With Christmas popcorn?
Let’s go on a night-time pyjama walk with Merlin!
Have a Christmas bath bomb bath!
