The Eames House is widely considered as one of the great buildings of the 20th century. Also known as the Case Study house 8, this beautiful piece of architecture was constructed in 1949 using only prefabrications and off-the-shelf materials.

Built by husband-and-wife design pioneers Charles and Ray Eames, to serve as their home and studio. Now a historic house museum maintained by the Eames Foundation, it was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2006.

This animated short tries to capture the essence of the house, and is in many ways a case study of our own.
