Hobi is as BRIGHT as the sun while Hoseok is as HOT as the sun. j-hope is the king of duality. It's like Hobi and Hoseok are two completely different people. And j-hope can seamlessly switch from one persona to another in a matter of seconds. He can even do both at the same time.

We love pointing out Hobi's duality as it is entertaining to watch. Until we realized that he really is living two separate lives. Hobi talked about his life as Jung Hoseok and j-hope in "EGO." But Hobi hasn't fully addressed his personas until the "j-hope In The Box" interview. While Hobi noted that he's both Jung Hoseok and j-hope, he did reveal one important difference between the two.

Since Hobi is always genuine, it can be difficult to differentiate Jung Hoseok from j-hope. Basically, j-hope is Hobi's professional side aka his idol Persona. And Jung Hoseok is his casual side aka a son to his parents, a brother to Jiwoo, and a friend to BTS. Oh, and a dad to Mickey.

Even though Hobi said there's not much difference between Jung Hoseok and j-hope, his confession to a previous game revealed how different he is on and off stage. While Hobi considered this a flaw, I find him even more endearing after his revelation.
