The are a lot of videos out there that provide 5 tips or for things like saving money while traveling and while I have done a few myself, I generally do not like them. Contrary to common YouTube wisdom, there are no 5 magic "hacks" that are going to allow you to magically be able to afford travel. The truth is that there is no substitute for planning, budgeting, and saving over a life-time. After making a few mistakes, and doing things I did not enjoy, I realize that if you are not creating the adventures you love, you are doing it wrong.
