(Sorry about the sound ... YouTube chopped out the radio because of copyright issues.)

I hardly ever drive across the Bay Bridge, but I usually get clobbered by a horrible thunderstorm when I do. This is the span that heads west. Lighting, dark clouds, strong winds, pouring down rain ... almost no visibility. Get me off this thing, now!

- At 1:15 you see .. well, you DON'T SEE the bridge, because it's been enveloped in dark clouds.
- There's an awesome seagull at 1:35 just hanging out.
- Then the rain starts at 2:10

So awful! I'm gripping the wheel hard with white knuckles and just hoping I don't run into the truck in front of me. I can't see anything!

- Then the truck suddenly breaks down at 4:55 (ugh, poor guy).
- At 5:42 you finally see the first tower that supports the highest span. The sky was much darker than it appears here, and yellow -- like clouds of sulfur.

Don't worry, it's only a couple hundred feet plunge to your death. People jump off this bridge every year. You MUST be crazy to even get out of your car. Other people die in accidents on a too frequent basis. I feel bad for them, and it makes me terribly anxious every time I get up there.

- Nice lightning bolt at 8:16

I make it eventually, thank Jeebus. But WHY MUST THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME?!
