This clip shows a power vent placed from an oil furnace through cellar and out basement window. This was done by Pawlak's One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning in Pittsburgh, Pa in order to bypass a blocked 2-story chimney. The project took one day to install.

(Edit). A lot of this work was done incorrectly and had to be corrected. The sizing of the pipe to the vent was installed incorrectly. The vent fan was missing parts. I’ve read that the length of the run from the furnace to the vent is too long also. So basically, it was installed badly.
