This Ferrari F40 previously owned by Eric Clapton was the subject of a recent paint correction detail in our studio.

On arrival, it showed evidence of swirl marks, scratches, and the color was looking tired.

In our wash bay, the car is washed using heated, filtered, and softened water.
The engine bay and chassis are treated at this point also.

Once in our studio, we raise the car on the ramp.
Masking tape is used to preserve plastic and rubber trim.

This car receives 3 stages of polishing.
The smaller areas are treated with 1’ and 2’ pads using a rotary and the nano tool. This is the only way to safely polish smaller areas. Edges are protected using tape to avoid inflicting further damage.
The larger areas are treated with bigger pads, rotary for cutting, orbital for polishing, and jewelling.

The car is waxed and sealed using Angelwax.
