WEEKLY VLOGS | FINISHING WHAT I STARTED | SUPER CHATTY | SIRENA GRACE CELES

Welcome Back, Vlog Fam!

Why am I constantly promising myself that I'll keep my videos under 30 minutes? I feel like resistance is literally futile.

Also safety police, don't come for me! I totally neglected to wear the proper respiratory protection during sanding & painting during the video.

HOWEVER chalk paint is notoriously a low VOC paint. Even the protective matte coating was practically odorless.

And, had I been sanding with a power sander, you bet your bottom dollar I'd be in goggles and a respiratory mask, but I personally took the risk this time, because I was kicking up practically no dust.

I know, I know, "NO EXCUSES!" but there you have it.

Anyway, I'll link the stuff I talked about in today's video down below!

If you guys are interested in seeing me refinish something from beginning to end, let me know, because I'll be painting plenty of existing pieces in our humble abode this year.

Remember? #whiteout2019 ?

I. am. a. Loon.

Hey, you clicked on the video, alright?

Anyway.

I love you all so much!

For your sandpaper, any 220 grit sandpaper will do, I just got a block because it's easy to hold on to. I purchased mine at Lowes or Home Depot.

For your paintbrush, you want to make sure you get a decent quality, because if you get a super cheapie one, (aka a "chip" paint brush) the bristles will literally fall out of the brush and get stuck on your furniture as you're painting it!

NOT. IDEAL!

If you're curious about Urban Ore, I'll link to them here: http://urbanore.com/ super weird, kitschy place, but worth a visit if you love to repurpose things and junk hunt!

As always, if I forgot to mention something, or you have any questions for me, leave it in the comments below!
