At WCW SuperBrawl V, wrestling veteran Paul Roma was scheduled to take on WCW newcomer Alex Wright. Paul Roma said he was told that Alex was going to lose this pay per view match, but on the day of the event plans changed. When Paul found out that Das Wunderkind was now going to win the SuperBrawl opening match he decided to "go into business for himself" and ensure that he looked as good as possible (at Alex's expense).
