In Today’s vlog is a high-speed blast from the past as we bring a piece of Porsche's racing heritage to the modern track. We're at Homestead International Speedway to collect a tribute to one of the most iconic race cars ever: a 1970s Porsche 3.0L RSR.

This RSR isn't just a tribute; it's a lightweight powerhouse, tipping the scales at around 2000lbs and boasting a custom-built, air-cooled 3.0L engine that pumps out over 300 horsepower. As we attend DRT's annual track event, the stage is set for an epic showdown: the classic prowess of the RSR versus the modern tech of my 997.2 GT3 RS.

Pawel, a licensed race car driver, takes the wheel of the RSR, challenging me and my GT3 RS, alongside 200 other Porsches on the track. We push both cars to their absolute limits, capturing the raw sound and intense performance of these two Porsches.

But as the rubber burns and engines roar, the real question emerges: Can the RSR outperform the 997.2 GT3 RS? The answer unfolds on the track, where every lap counts, and both cars dance on the edge of their capabilities.

The RSR's engine sings a symphony of power – until the final, dramatic moments of the race. Don't miss the conclusion to see which Porsche crosses the finish line first and the fate that befalls our RSR in its valiant effort.
